Bob Bukowski, Founder, Managing Partner and Senior Consultant
Bob has provided financial consulting for over 20 years, and has more than 25 years experience in the investment business. He founded Alpha in 1989, and his first client is with him today.
Bob is a member of Wisconsin Retirement Plan Professionals, Greater Milwaukee Employee Benefits Council and the International Foundation of Employee Benefits. He received a BBA at UW Madison with degrees in Finance, Investment and Banking and Real Estate.
As Managing Partner, Bob sets the tone for all client interactions and oversees all client relationships.

John Michael “Mickey” Maier, J.D., AIF®, Senior Consultant
Mickey has worked for more than two decades in the financial services industry. He is the former President and CEO of EMJAY Corporation, and served as President of Wells Fargo Retirement Plan Services after the bank acquired EMJAY in 1998.
Mickey brings creativity and deliberation to his interactions with clients. He co-authored The 401(k) AnswerBook and The Participant Directed Investment AnswerBook, among other works. Mickey has served as an Independent Fiduciary for a variety of ESOP transactions.
He is a member of Wisconsin Retirement Plan Professionals, Ltd., The National Center for Employee Ownership, The ESOP Association and the Wisconsin Higher Education Business Roundtable. In 2008, he was appointed to the Milwaukee County Pension Board. He has a BS from UW-Madison and graduated from the UW School of Law.
